Pre:
Book your botox or filler appointment 2 weeks prior to booking your peel
Book any facial waxing 1 week prior or 2 weeks after treatment
Discontinue use of retinol or aggressive exfoliation 3 days prior
Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior - sunburnt skin cannot be treated
Go without makeup the day and night of your treatment (we cleanse your skin, but makeup free is easiest!)
post:
Use a clean pillowcase the night of your treatment and wash your makeup brushes too!
Avoid strenuous exercise or sweating (that includes hot tubs/saunas too!) for 48-72 hours
Avoid excessive sun exposure at least 2 weeks after treatment
Keep those hands away! Do not vigorously rub the skin and resist the urge to pick at any flakes or peeling, you will do more harm than good
Avoid retinol, exfoliation and any cleansing tools for roughly 7 days post treatment
Use a simple routine for one week following your treatment: a gentle cleanser, gentle moisturizer and SPF 30+. Once your skin feels like it’s back to its young self (approx. 5-7 days or 10-14 depending on the peel), resume your regular skin care regimen

Wait one month before or after any laser treatments, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion treatments
Discontinue use of retinol or aggressive exfoliation 3 days prior.
Wait until active acne has subsided.
If prone to cold sores, take Valtrex or something similar for a few days prior to treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to microneedling - sunburnt skin cannot be treated
Go without makeup the day and night of your treatment (we cleanse your skin, but makeup free is easiest!).

For the first 24 hours do not use any skincare products other than the Lift Gel provided post treatment (use as often as needed)
After 24 hours, wash your face with tepid water and a gentle cleanser, then continue to apply Repair Elixier as needed as well as Acne Serum (For only acne clients) also given post treatment.
Avoid applying makeup at least 24 hours post treatment.
The day after your treatment, apply a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with SPF of at least 30.
Avoid strenuous exercise or sweating (that includes hot tubs/saunas too!) for 72 hours.
Avoid excessive sun exposure at least 2 weeks after treatment.
Keep those hands away! Do not vigorously rub the skin or pick at it.
Avoid retinol, exfoliation and any cleansing tools for roughly 1 week post treatment.

Post:
Cool Compresses:
Apply a cool compress or soothing gel to reduce redness and swelling.
Avoid Sun Exposure:
Continue to avoid sun exposure for at least 2-4 weeks post-treatment.
Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) daily.
Gentle Skincare:
Use gentle, non-irritating cleansers and moisturizers.
Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating the treated area for at least 1 week.
No Makeup:
Avoid makeup on the treated area for 24-48 hours post-procedure.
No Heat or Strenuous Activities:
Avoid hot showers, saunas, or heavy exercise for 24-48 hours.
Avoid Picking or Scratching:
Do not pick at scabs or peeling skin, as this could cause scarring.

No alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil for at least 24-48 hours prior to your procedure.

No tanning or intense sun exposure for 24weeks prior to treatment.
Stop Retinols/Exfoliants:
Avoid retinol, glycolic acid, or any exfoliating treatments on the area for 1 week before.
Do Botox or Fillers before an appointment:
If you are thinking of getting Botox or fillers in the area. Get it for 2-4 weeks prior to an our appointment
Consultation:
Let your artist know of any skin conditions, allergies, or medications you’re taking.

Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes for 7-10 days.

No mascara or eyeliner for 7-10 days until fully healed.

No Wetting or Sweating:
Avoid getting the brows wet or sweating for 7-10 days.
Moisturize Lightly:
Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment provided by your artist, if recommended.
No Makeup:
Avoid applying makeup on the brow area until healed, usually 7-10 days.
No Picking:
Do not pick or scratch any scabs that form as this can cause scarring or pigment loss.

Moisturize Regularly:
Use the recommended lip balm frequently to keep lips moist.
No Kissing or Smoking:
Avoid kissing, smoking, or using straws for 5-7 days to prevent irritation.
Peeling and Scabbing:
Lips will flake and peel as they heal, but do not pick at the skin.

Laser Tattoo Removal

Pre-Care:
Avoid Sun Exposure:
Keep the treatment area out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning for 4 weeks before your session. Use sunscreen (SPF 30+) on the tattoo area.
No Self-Tanners:
Do not use any self-tanners or spray tans on the area for 2-4 weeks prior.

Refrain from alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning medications or supplements (like fish oil) for 48 hours before your treatment.
Shave the Area (if applicable):
If the tattoo is in a hairy area, shave the area the day before your appointment. Avoid waxing or using hair removal creams.
Stay Hydrated:
Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated, as this can improve healing.
No Skincare Products on Treatment Day:
Do not apply any lotions, creams, makeup, or deodorants to the treatment area on the day of the procedure.
Post-Care:
Apply Cold Compress:
Use cold compresses or ice packs to reduce swelling and discomfort immediately after the treatment for 10-15 minutes.
Use Healing Ointment:
Apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment (like Aquaphor or Vaseline) and cover the treated area with a sterile bandage for the first 3 days.
Avoid Sun Exposure:
Keep the treated area out of the sun during the healing process and always use sunscreen (SPF 30+) to prevent pigmentation changes and irritation.
Keep the Area Clean and Dry:
Gently clean the area with mild soap and water. Pat dry; do not rub. Avoid soaking the treated area in water (baths, pools, or hot tubs) for at least 7-10 days.
No Picking or Scratching:
The area may blister, scab, or peel, but do not pick or scratch as this could lead to infection or scarring.
Avoid Exercise and Sweating:
Refrain from intense physical activity or anything that causes excessive sweating for the first 48 hours to avoid irritation.
Avoid Tight Clothing:
Wear loose, breathable clothing over the treated area to prevent friction and irritation.
Monitor for Signs of Infection:
Watch for redness, excessive swelling, or discharge that could indicate infection. Contact your provider if you notice these signs.
Hydrate and Eat Well:
Stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet to support your body’s healing process.
Multiple Sessions:
Be prepared for multiple sessions (usually 3-12 treatments) to fully remove the tattoo depends on the area and needs. Allow at least 4-8 weeks between sessions to let the skin heal.
Proper pre and post-care will ensure your skin heals well and achieves the best possible results with minimal side effects.
